On Monday evening I went to the first floorball training in Madrid. Going by train from Alcalá to Atocha in Madrid takes 35 minutes. Then I should add also time what takes to walk to the train station of Alcalá and from Atocha to the sports center. Travelling to one way takes then about 50 minutes. I did not take my stick from Finland so I had to borrow stick. Stick was too short but I was happy to be able to play. Level of the floorball was higher than I expected. Playing was much more organized than playing with the university students and skill level was also good. I will have next training on Friday.
On friday already? Are you going to visit them every week twice? Isn't that going to be costly and even more tiring?
ReplyDeleteYea there will two training every week and also matches later on. Train ticket to one way is 2.5e so not too expensive. I should try to do something useful when travelling in the train.
ReplyDeleteWhat position did you get to play? Defense? Did you have goalies and how large is the team? I'm thirsty for more details! :)
ReplyDeleteThere were almost 20 players in the trainin and some of them were women. I can not answer for more questions yet. Today I am a bit sick so I have to skip training
